Hezbollah (Hizbullah) leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah threatened to kidnap Israeli soldiers as his new resistance tactic.
In a fiery speech following Hezbollah's attack on Northern Israel, the Sayyed seemed to have lost control.
Nasrallah called last Friday for the capture of Israeli soldiers, as the Jewish state returned the bodies of three Party of God fighters killed in the recent clashes. During a ceremony to honor those killed, Nasrallah said it was their duty to capture Israeli soldiers to use them as bargaining chips for the release of Lebanese held by Israel.
"It is our natural right to capture Israeli soldiers, it is even our duty ... it is not a terrorist act, nor a crime ... but a natural right," said Nasrallah. "Natural Right!!! WOW" told me a high-ranking officer in the US administration.
Nasrallah went on to describe the alliance of his party and their militia with Syria and Iran. "The Lebanese and the world have it now on record that Hezbollah is an extra-constitutional militia forging alliances with foreign countries outside the framework of the Lebanese state" the officer went on to say.
On the other hand, the spiritual guide for Hezbollah Sheikh Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah announced yesterday that his call for a trial of Georges Bush for allegedly considering to attack Al-Jazeera. "WOW!!! I hate to see what would have happened had Bush actually attacked Al-Jazeera" said a Hezbollah observer. He went on to say that Fadlallah and Nasrallah would have considered and perhaps ordered without consideration a "Resistance" attack on the "White House" in DC. "This makes you wonder what these guys are smoking."
