Interesting comment! Would you mind elaborating?
I have always understood that maximum entropy leads to stability and a final order.
But what I see in Lebanon today is a highly symptomatic syndrome that I call VDD: Vision Deficit Disorder; and I do not mean sight but foresight.

I agree with Truth. There is a total lack of vision particularly among the Maronite leadership and I do not mean the local dwarfs like Frangieh, Gemayyel or Eddeh. I mean the head of the Maronite Political Party (MPP), Mr. Sfeir; I think he is suffering from a sever case of VDD and he's had it for some time now.

I am impressed guys. What do we have here a clinic for the politically retarded in Lebanon?
Last time Gisele posted that most leaders in lebanon (particularly Sunni) suffer from a Victim Abuser-dependent syndrome (VADS); today's diagnosis by Truth is VDD!
Ehmm let me think which one applies best? I know thay both may be morbid but could they be concurrent? or co-morbid? HEy I am not a physician but I know these terms.
I think in a sense it is entropy: for maximum entropy is maximum disorder, which in turn becomes highly stable for you cannot change it to more chaotic. That's it, there is no more.
This gives me an idea: may be partition (in the Taftit sense) is the solution, for then we'll have maximum entropy and stability. With time maybe those tiny parts will come together again like the the drops of mercury. Just a thought!

Diagnoses without treatment are not enough. To the person claiming to be a physician, you should know that, you should know better than simply throwing diagnoses right and left. If you do that with a patient, give them a diagnosis without a course of treatment if there is one or without telling them how to manage the disease if there is no treatment, you will hurt more than help. I tell you that as a physician myself.
I say the treatment for the lack of Law and Order in Lebanon lies in the willingness of the people to be governed by laws and not be herded like sheep or to buy their way through.
First we have to have the laws. They must be updated and fair.
Then, we need a court system backed by a mighty government arm to implement the law. We need better pay and more job security for our judges, and internal security forces (Amn Dakhleh).
Third, independance of this systems from political or undue influence is a must for them to operate properly.
