Lately we are seeing Mrs Strida Geagea becoming so close to Mr. Jomblat and Mr. Saed El Hariri. No doubts they are promising her to help releaseing Dr. Samir Geagea. However if we stop for a while and think about it a little bit. Does anyone in Lebanon really want Geagea out ?
- For sure Jomblat who got a headache in Baabda-Aley district after the return of General Michel Aoun, will have to think very deeply before he makes any move to free Geagea, since he might fear Geagea influence on christians of the Chouf district.
Besides those who follow Jomblat statements rarely hear him talking about releasing LF chief lately.
Jomblat, Hariri, Hizballah are supporting a Berri to stay head of parliament for the next 4 years. We all know that Berri is also close to Karameh, and we still remember his smart move when he asked for karameh approval on the amnesty law. Why would Berri now change his position ?!

Moreover, there were rumours that Jomblat passed a message to his supporters to scratch Adwan (LF candidate) from the list in favor of Kamil Chamoun. If this is true and Adwan looses the elections, this will give an argument to Jomblat that the Mountain people is not in the favor of Geagea release and LF are no more a popular strength that deserves such an effort to help free their leader.

Can all what is being done be a trap for LF to just take their votes especially in Baabda-Aley district to fight GMA ????

Well think about it: We on the outside do not actually know who truly represents El-Hakim; is it his wife? or his attorney who has a legal affidavit to represent him? is Adwan? no one knows. Have the LF met atll anywhere and decided who is running where? No, all what we see are meeting with Mrs. Geagea. For all we know she could be on bad terms with her husband, may be they have decided to divorce, maybe el-Hakim is not up-to-date on what's happening outside.
Yes there may be a trap but everyone could be in on it: his wife, Jumblat, Hariri, Berri, etc...
