We will not forget and we will not forgive.
It is our natural right to live free of fear and Gebran faught for that right.
Those who killed him thought they could scare us but I say to them and to all of you, we are not afraid, whatever fear was in my heart, I buried it today with Gebran and I am ready to fight.
Fight for our freedom and our liberty.
So long Gebran, until we meet again in a free Lebanon.

I am a Lebanese immigrant living in the states since 1976 and the assassination of Gebran Tueini has come as a shock to me and my family.

What I saw in Gebran Tueini was a great man and was to become a greater man...the law of the land was going to change...to make him the greatest president ever in Lebanon. They have assassinated our future president of Lebanon.

Now, we the people of Lebanon will be free, even if each and every one of us have to die for our country, our country of Lebanon will be free and will have peace. Gebran Tueini and his words live in each and one of us, no one will ever forget that Gebran Tueini is the greatest man.

Christine
