I think the guy deserves everyone reconsidering his positions towards him. He sacrificed so much to keep 14th of March alive.

Are you nominating him for the next President?

I agree he comes across very poised and trying to be careful with what he says. With little training, he can become ready for prime time. With the alarming shortage of good candidates among Maronite politicians, Geagea may be the best bet for the time being.

I think a debate on his merits is warranted. I hope we'll be joined by others in this discussion.

Guys are you serious !!!
This guy is a big dictator. Did you forget his behavior in the late 80s ??? He is a very dangerous guy when he has power in his hand.

Note also that time stopped for this guy when he went to prison. He does not realise that we are in 2006 : "Al bahrou min amamana wa al 3adou min wara2ina".
It is better to send him to deir assalib for a treatment than sending him to Baabda.

I personnaly think Geagea is today a very wise man. He is patriotic and works hard to make Lebanon a better place.

But even with that, i dont think he deserves to become President, because we never know how he can turn out to be once he has power. He fired on Lebanese villages for years. I dont think he should come back as president. Nore Mr.Aoun. These 2 men, i think, have NOTHING to do as presidents, and i deeply belive they are both dangerous fro lebanons future if they ake power... Geagea is imprevisible, and Aoun is psycho... So i wouldnt choose neither of them..

Dr Gaegae has indeed sacrificed a lot for Lebanon recently, and he currently leads the "Lebanon First" mentality alongside with the March 14 allies (in my opinion)
