Has anyone stop to think whether Mr. Kassir was himself involved with an intelligence agency? Perhaps Israeli, French or American? Would that explain his pursuit by the Lebanese Surete Generale for a few years when they ignored all other writers who were more opposed to Syrian occupation of Lebanon than he was.
